Abstract

Tofu is a protein source food made from soybeans which is in great demand by the people Indonesia, however, the production of tofu produces liquid waste that is underutilized by the community. This study aims to find an alternative to tofu liquid waste treatment to be used as liquid organic fertilizer. This type of quantitative descriptive research with parameters that are seen are color and smell. The results of the study obtained the color before it was dark brown and after being fermented it became light brown. Then for the smell before it is fermented it is not too strong and after it is fermented it produces a very pungent smell. The conclusion is that liquid organic fertilizer made from tofu liquid waste changes color and smell during cooking time
